Linken awoke and found himself bound, gagged, and over a fire. Apparently the Gyrons after losing their home on the mountain moved to the forest where they started to pick off lonely adventurers, wanderers, or inhabitants. They spoke to each other in some weird language Linken had never heard of and laughed as they turned him slowly over the intensifying flames. Before he could think of what to do there was a great flash of light as his pet fairy Naomi transformed into a dragon and gobbled the Gyrons up, freed Linken, and provided him with the information he needed to save Zelba and died.(Apparently he never found any of this odd and decided to take the information his newly found dragon fairy of a thing gave him which was "when the time comes scream these words into the heavens and a new found power shall be brought forth to vanquish the villain the holds your princess Zelba", these words being " I love Pie")
Linken with his new found knowledge made his way to the Gyron Mountains. With no equipment he found this hike to be very intense, because the mountains were a great many feet from where the Gyron encampment was located. So after a 30 minute hike down the path that was labeled "Gyron Mountains this way" Linken found himself inside of the mountain (that just so happened to be a volcano.... who knew?). Looking around Linken knew that he could not be far from where Zelba was held, there was a golden archway label "Ganondinkle's Domain" with small golden Gyron Statues with pitchforks engraved next to the small fine print label that read "Snatchin Princess and selling them back, Family business since 1922". Linken was sure this had to be it, so creeping his way into the doorway he soon found the lair to be very homely there were platters of danishes and cream pies all over the place and a couch in front of a LCD screen the size of his house. Feeling weary he decided it wouldn’t hurt to grab a snack and watch some of the ole boob tube. He would soon find out it was a trap, Ganondinkle had sensed his presence all along and the pies were drugged.
